Let's Get to Building

With all the design in the books and getting our hands on all the materials, the team has been busy putting together the systems.

Here's a gallery of the initial 4-bar linkage build:

Let's take a look at our upper body system.

We also put together the upper and lower body systems together:

On the electrical/software side, we got an initial working prototype of the gait detection system. The green LED indicates heel strike, while the green LED indicates toe-off.

We also got our hands on the actuator and began characterizing it before starting integration with the rest of the gait detection system.

Things are definitely coming together! We're working hard on integrating and improving our design in the next few weeks.
